The Space
A compact 1 BHK rowhouse of approximately 600 square feet spread across two levels. The ground floor includes the living room, kitchen, and a bed for the client’s mother. The upper floor accommodates the daughter’s bedroom and the master bedroom.
They Wanted
A home that felt calm, cozy, and personal with efficient use of space for a multigenerational family. They needed smart storage solutions and small thoughtful touches to reflect each family member’s lifestyle, especially their daughter’s artistic interests and the couple’s work needs.
We Delivered
A pastel-toned living area with framed paint accents that add charm and character. The kitchen continues the gentle palette with appliances and pull-out storage neatly tucked under the staircase. The stairway wall features family photos that add a sense of journey and belonging. The daughter’s room includes a lofted bed with storage below and above, steps with built-in drawers, a small study desk, and a chalkboard wall to encourage hands-on creativity. The master bedroom now includes a study desk within the wardrobe, a flexible chest of drawers with an extended surface for occasional laptop use, and a layout that makes getting ready effortless with a mirror tucked inside the wardrobe.

We really didn’t think our home had the potential to look the way it does now. It’s a small space and at one point we even told our contractor we weren’t expecting too much. But the end result completely surprised us. Every part of the house feels thoughtful and intentional without being overdone. It still feels like our home, just lighter, calmer, and so much more beautiful than we ever imagined.
